Rotate Assets: Inventory
The Rotating Assets tab on the Locations page details the current location of rotating assets in the Asset List. This page also lets you update or enter serial numbers for a rotating asset.
A Repair Center field displayed at the top of the report, allowing you to view rotating assets from specific repair centers or all repair centers. Features on this page also allow you to print, export, or email the displayed data, refresh the displayed results, and modify the configuration of the display.
The default display, which may have been altered in your organization, includes a row for each rotating asset in the specified repair center, grouped by stock room.
Each row specifies the following information about the asset:

Icon: Icon for the asset.

Parent Location All: Location of the asset in the Asset List, specifying all parent nodes.
By default, serialized parts are placed in a Stock Rooms node at the highest level of the Asset List. However, the nodes holding serialized parts can be moved like any other node of the Asset List.

Repair Center Name: Name of the repair center for the asset.

Serial: Field specifying the serial number for the asset if assigned.
Serial numbers can also be entered on the corresponding Asset Details tab.
Modify or enter a serial number for a rotating asset:

Locate the asset you want to modify.

Enter the correct serial number in the Serial field.

Click Save.
The formatting of the text in the row changes to indicate that the serial number has been changed.

Continue this process for any other rotating assets displayed on the page.
